Dojo Sound was born out of a simple idea: creating a space for music and creativity that felt welcoming, inspiring, and inclusive. Initially envisioned as a music space for Rob, the sheer size of the building quickly revealed its potential as a community hub. With the help of friends who poured their hearts into painting, decorating, building, and scrubbing, Dojo Sound transformed into more than just a studio—it became a home for creatives seeking a safe, inviting environment free from the usual bar scene or unwelcoming atmospheres.
Rooted in the collaborative spirit of the Look Around Festival, where we met our partner Dave McLaughlin of All Smilez Customz and Vintage, Dojo Sound reflects our shared dream of creating a peaceful space where artists can connect, collaborate, and thrive. For Rob and Nikki, this journey feels like a calling—just the first step in building a vibrant community for creatives to meet, create, and grow together.

rob perna jr

Rob Perna, Jr. is a West Chester native with guitar playing experience of over 30 years, 25 years of those including one on one instruction and teaching experience. He is a father, songwriter, performer, and mentor who lives and breathes for his art form.
Rob came up in the world of the blues, playing with and learning from the best players in innumerable spaces over the span of his career. The blues led him to funk and reggae, where his own style, and quickly identifiable personal sound, has since flourished.
Rob is available for one-on-one instruction in rhythm guitar, lead guitar, bass guitar, band coaching, studio work, co-writing, production, and more.
nikki digiorgio

Nikki DiGiorgio is a multi-disciplinary creative, entrepreneur, and community builder with over 15 years of hands-on marketing and brand development experience. A founder at heart, she built Dojo Sound to be more than a studio — it’s a launchpad for artists who are ready to take themselves seriously.
With a background spanning music, event production, digital marketing, and design, Nikki specializes in helping musicians move from “just creating” to operating like a brand. From curating and coordinating live events to building and optimizing Bandzoogle websites, she helps artists establish a professional, cohesive online presence that converts.
Nikki is available for website design and setup (Bandzoogle optimization, e-commerce integration, mailing lists, analytics), release strategy planning, metadata organization, distribution prep, PR direction, marketing campaigns, and overall brand positioning.
DAVE MCLAUGHLIN

Dave is a designer, visual storyteller, and the owner/operator of All Smilez Customz, a custom clothing brand built on originality, craftsmanship, and bold identity. With years of hands-on experience in apparel production and creative development, he understands how to turn an idea into something you can actually hold, wear, and sell.
Specializing in custom merch design and production, Dave works closely with musicians and brands to translate their sound and story into wearable art and tangible products. From full apparel lines to limited-edition drops, he approaches every project with precision, intention, and collaboration at the forefront.
Dave is available for custom merchandise design and sourcing, apparel production coordination, graphic design, photography, and creative direction.
